Media Buyer

As a Senior Media Buyer, you will be in charge of creating Pay Per Click strategy campaigns for a range of clients to gain market share, increase traffic, generate leads, and grow revenue. You will be positioned as a senior-level thinker who is passionate about your work and able to make smart data-driven decisions to optimize your campaigns. You enjoy testing new sources in different medians (banners, video ads, advertorials, contextual links, display, native ads, etc.) and you regularly strive to improve your craft. The role will start as a Sr Media buyer with an opportunity (optional) to lead a team of media buyers and eventually sit at a strategy level.

Your position will include:

Prepare media buying strategies which can be clearly articulated to your team and clients with definable goals
Manage media buying campaigns across various platforms
Collaborate our creative teams to enhance campaign assets as needed
Manage certain client relationships and participate in client meetings/discussions
Write ad copy with a focus on the particular platform and audience
Perform regular analysis and optimization of campaigns
Work with the sales team to create new strategies, build proposals, and develop new service offerings
Compile client data for reporting using various tools internal and web-based tools (Supermetrics, Google Data Studio, spreadsheets, etc)
Translate customer objectives into tangible strategies with effective and measurable goals
Your position will require:

2+ years of experience in media buying
Strong knowledge of performance evaluation tools such as Google Analytics and math proficiency skills
Experience with buying media on multiple platforms - Google, Bing, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Amazon, Native ads, etc.)
A desire to eventually lead a team and train junior staff as needed
Experience with Amazon: optimizing products, setting up new listings, competitor analyses, sponsored product campaigns, and review management
Strong analytical skills and the ability to combine and/or cross reference data from multiple platforms using MS Excel and other analytical tools
Strong English written skills for customer communication and ad copy
Strong organizational skills and an ability to balance multiple projects
An ability to maintain focus on big-picture goals and understand client perspective
Experience in budget management and reporting
Desire to learn, resourceful attitude and capable of succeeding at both autonomous and team-driven goals.
Experience with audience and buyer persona research
Not required but would be considered an asset:

Bilingual French and English speaking and writing
Hands-on lead generation experience including Pay Per Call
HTML knowledge
Pixel tracking set up
This position’s salary will be between 60-70k depending on experience- there will also be an opportunity for commissionable overrides on owned and operated (internal) campaigns.
