Maintenance Supervisor

Performs preventative maintenance, assigned project work and emergency repairs by adhering to pre-operational checklists. Maintains neat and accurate records and follows the directives of the Maintenance Supervisor to assure that each line and all major equipment is operating at the safeest and most efficient levels to maximize production, quality and customer satisfaction.


  • repairs plant equipment, machines and cranes.
  • Coordinates activities of outside services in the maintenance and servicing of all equipment, machines and cranes.
  • Must follow lock-out/tag-out procedures when troubleshooting or performing repairs to equipment, machines and cranes.
  • Performs building maintenance including repair of electrical systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and grounds maintenance.
  • Coordinates activity of outside services related to the maintenance of these areas.
  • Logs daily activity and prepares reports as required.
  • Leads in the completion of scheduled work on equipment, machines and cranes as required by our preventative maintenance program. Ensures work is done in a timely and complete manner.
  • Requisitions for needed parts and supplies.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned
  • Complies with the designated ISO/TS16949 responsibilities, environmental management system, health and safety, and company rules and guidelines.
  • Ensures company safety policies are adhered to and safety work habits are followed by all department personnel and visitors. Wear PPEs as required at all times.
  • Maintains a high standard of general housekeeping consistent with 5S standards.
  • Strives for continuous improvement
  • High-school diploma or equivalent
  • Red Seal Certified
  • Valid Trade Certificate
  • Five (5) years of job related experience in an industrial environment.
  • Related automotive industry experience is an asset
