Working out of our brand-new office space in Waterloo, ON as a Construction Project Administrator, you will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with engineers, technicians and technologists to organize and support the Construction Project Administrator with the execution of engineering services during the construction phase of projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Development of standard engineering services forms
  • Assisting with processing and logging of: Requests for Information, Requests for Quotation, Field Orders & Change Orders, Shop Drawing Submittals, Progress Payment Certificates
  • Formatting and issuing Bi‑Weekly Reports
  • Substantial/Total Performance documentation
  • General review and formatting of reports, progress meeting agendas and minutes
  • Maintaining the electronic and paper filing systems as per ISO standards

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a general office administration role; past experience as an Administrative Assistant is considered an asset
  • Proficient in the full MS Office suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of basic accounting/bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills including poise, tact, and diplomacy
  • Effective problem solving skills
