Golder has a new opportunity for a SharePoint Developer to join our global IT team on a full-time basis . We are looking for a highly independent, motivated professional paying great attention to details and willing to continuously adapt and learn new software development technologies.

You will work with consultants, project managers, other developers within our IT team. We use a Scrum-based methodology to deliver quality results in time.

You will work out of our Santigo, Chile office. Our daily work includes extensive use of instant messaging, online meetings and screensharing, and other online collaboration tools found in Office 365.

An overview of your role will include:

  • Work with project managers/scrum masters, developers, and the business group implementing software and delivering results on a frequent cycle.
  • Work with SharePoint 2013, 2016 and SharePoint Online for Office 365 implementations and automation of business processes.
  • Produce clean, efficient code and software architecture
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade new and existing SharePoint sites
  • Verify and deploy programs and systems, preferably to Azure Cloud



You will have a background and experience in:

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and/or commensurate years of experience
  • 5-7 years experience as a SharePoint Developer, Software Engineer
  • 5-7 years use and knowledge of C#, SQL and HTML / JS / CSS / MS Development Stack: SharePoint online / SharePoint Designer / JavaScript / IIS / ASP.Net / Visual Studio / Azure DevOps source control and others.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to learn new CS languages and technologies
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Office 365 and modern SharePoint development knowledge required
  • Development of forms and workflows required
  • Ability to implement custom branding with CSS or theming based on a custom design
  • Master Pages, Page Layouts, Site Templates, Content Query Web Parts customization
  • General Office 365 development/add-ins
  • Enterprise Search
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
