Reporting to the Director, Institutional Research (IR), the incumbent oversees the college-wide collection of Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) including the coordination, organization and administration of the survey. This position also supports the Georgian Profile Survey, the Board of Governors College Scorecard, and the ministry-mandated KPI Graduate Satisfaction Survey. This position provides support to the IR team by completing ad hoc requests; designing and implementing online and/or paper surveys; monitoring the generic IR email account; and focus group scribing. In addition, the incumbent supports the Director as a first point of contact with regards to KPI reporting, maintenance of the IR SharePoint site and/or the Program Assessment process. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing and coordinating college-wide survey research projects such as KPIs, Georgian Profile Survey (GPS), etc. by:
o Creating and distributing a critical path and work plan to relevant stakeholders
o Working with academic areas and IT to identify eligible participant populations
o Preparing and submitting detailed program and student data files
o Creating training materials and providing direct training to in-class survey administrators
o Creating survey schedules, by assigning survey administrators, and sending individual calendar invites
o Conducting quantitative analysis and preparing college-, campus- and program-level analysis and reports
o Consulting with various internal stakeholders to resolve issues
o Providing support for the ministry-mandated KPIs by updating graduate contact information
• Preparing the College Scorecard which includes liaising with stakeholders and Marketing & Communications, collecting key metrics, preparing analysis, and Board of Governor's cover notes
• Preparing college-level analysis, reporting and presentations
• Providing primary quantitative data support for ad hoc research requests and survey generation / implementation (data extraction, preparation of data files, tables, charts and presentations)
• Conducting qualitative data analysis and assisting with focus groups (scribing, reviewing and categorizing comments, thematic analysis, report generation, etc.)
• Assisting with the development, implementation analysis and reporting of surveys (online and paper-based), data extraction, report generation, and development/delivery of presentations as appropriate
• Overseeing the IR SharePoint site including content updates, assigning system access, and coordinating the college's feedback email account
• Acting as first point of contact to support Georgian's Program Assessment process
• Providing general office support to the IR office which includes ordering office supplies, coordinating equipment purchases and maintenance, etc.
• Assisting the Director with financial tasks, that includes balancing monthly journal entries, reconciling credit card statements, and assisting with budget review preparation

• Successfully completed a four-year post-secondary degree in a relevant field of study that may include, but is not limited to, statistics or social sciences (sociology, political science, psychology, etc.)
• Three years of experience working in a role supporting social research and managing large complex projects
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis and working on large research projects
• Experience developing training materials and providing training others (staff and students)
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Excel
• Expertise using survey development software tools (i.e. Remark, Fluid Surveys, etc.)
• Proven multi-tasking skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision with high attention to detail
• Highly developed organizational and time management skills
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with College programs and academic statistics
• Experience with SharePoint, Cognos, and / or PeopleSoft Finance would be considered assets
