This is a challenging opportunity to implement and manage I&amp;IT initiatives for the OPS Justice Enterprises with significant impacts to Ontarians and across government.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Justice Technology Services is responsible for IT services and support to the Justice Enterprises - Ministry of the Attorney General, Ministry of the Solicitor General and their external Justice partners - that enables transformation into a modern, effective and efficient justice system. We are looking for two experienced professionals to lead and manage the Victims and Vulnerable Persons Division (VVPD) Solutions Team and the Quality Assurance (QA) Team.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We currently have two positions to fill: <strong>Solutions Portfolio Manager</strong> and <strong>QA Manager</strong>.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What can I expect to do in this role? </strong></p> <p>As the <strong>Solutions Portfolio Manager</strong>, you will:</p> <p>&bull; Lead through others by motivating, building and developing a team of individuals to deliver results on high profile initiatives</p> <p>&bull; Establish priorities, identify critical issues, recommend options, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure on a consistent basis</p> <p>&bull; Lead and manage the strategic development and maintenance of business and mission-critical I&amp;IT applications, systems and tools consistent with cluster and enterprise initiatives</p> <p>&bull; Consult with and help define client I&amp;IT systems requirements and identify solutions</p> <p>&bull; Manage and oversee the deployment of I&amp;IT systems including: implementing technology infrastructure and the negotiation and management of all related business, information management and I&amp;IT service level agreements, and changes to organization and business processes and procedures.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As the <strong>QA Manager</strong>, you will:</p> <p>&bull; Oversee the development and implementation of QA approach which support the business strategy and quality improvements</p> <p>&bull; Lead in planning, organizing and implementing the test management of complex application delivery projects/programs</p> <p>&bull; Provide guidance and leadership for a multi-disciplinary team of managers, testers and analysts</p> <p>&bull; Track and report on key metrics to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of testing processes and delivery capabilities</p> <p>&bull; Develop and sustain internal and external stakeholder relationships to coordinate shared interests</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Toronto</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>How do I qualify? </strong></p> <p><strong>Strategic Leadership: </strong></p> <p>&bull; You have leadership experience to engage and develop team members in a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting innovation and creativity.</p> <p>&bull; You have people-management skills including experience in managing technical employees, staff assigned on a project basis and external consultants in delivering results.</p> <p>&bull; You have a proven track record of strategic thinking, innovation and effective decision-making abilities.</p> <p>&bull; You have experience and knowledge of financial management, procurement, contract management and asset management to prepare budgets, manage expenditures within allocated budget, define requirements for resources, goods and services, and ensure value for money.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Technical Expertise: </strong></p> <p><strong>Solutions Portfolio Manager: </strong></p> <p>&bull; You have expertise in information systems development and methodologies, application architecture, systems modernization, information technology hardware and software to lead the development of consistent integrated applications and associated standards and support tools.</p> <p>&bull; You have knowledge of business systems analysis, design, implementation, testing, and risk management to direct staff in the development and evaluation of I&amp;IT systems.</p> <p>&bull; You have knowledge of data and information management practices, processes and enabling technologies to support the use of data for business intelligence and analytics purposes.</p> <p>&bull; You can develop documentation in support of enterprise information governance &amp; management processes.</p> <p>&bull; You have awareness of Microsoft .NET and Office 365 including MS Dynamics CRM, SharePoint Online, and Power Apps.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>QA Manager: </strong></p> <p>&bull; You have strong knowledge of QA methodology, best practices and processes for contributing towards quality project delivery.</p> <p>&bull; You have expertise in I&amp;IT applications testing principles, standards, methodologies, tools, techniques and trends to provide direction, leadership and authoritative testing expertise.</p> <p>&bull; You have experiencing in reviewing and approving development of test artifacts for all stages of the testing phase (test scenarios, test cases, execution reporting and associated documentation).</p> <p>&bull; You have knowledge of project software development life cycle: systems analysis, design, development, testing and implementation methods.</p> <p>&bull; You have proven expertise in information systems development and maintenance, and related quality assurance and change management processes.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Communication, Stakeholder and Relationship Management: </strong></p> <p>&bull; You have experience building and maintaining effective and lasting relationships with clients, project teams, and external partners in order to gather input, build consensus and deliver on priorities.</p> <p>&bull; You communicate information with clarity and enthusiasm resulting in a shared understanding and commitment by internal and external partners.</p> <p>&bull; You have experience in managing and negotiating IT service agreements using third party vendors and suppliers.</p> <p>&bull; You have superior oral and written communication skills to articulate business requirements and to prepare business cases, develop presentations and briefing notes.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Project Management: </strong></p> <p>&bull; You have expertise in project management methodologies including planning, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management to effectively manage multiple complex largescale high priority projects.</p> <p>&bull; You have expertise in structuring, organizing and managing multiple projects with a proven track record of successful project completion.</p> <p>&bull; You have demonstrated problem-solving skills to resolve complex and multi-faceted issues affecting the delivery of I&amp;IT business solutions and services.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $79,720.00 - $120,574.00 per year</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p> <ul> <li>3 Temporary, duration up to 12 months, 21 College St, 3rd Flr, Toronto, Toronto Region, Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Note:</strong></p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li>In accordance with the Ontario Public Service (OPS), Employment Screening Checks Policy (ESCP), the top candidate(s) may be required to undergo a security screening check.
