Reporting to the Director, International Education and Development, the incumbent will monitor emails and applications from prospective students and agents. In addition, the incumbent actively supports recruitment initiatives by utilizing a variety of outreach, promotional and engagement approaches to promote all Georgian College programs to targeted prospective student population. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing and screening applications to ensure accuracy and continuation of the application process with the International Application System
• Following up with application inquires, in all venues, to ensure timely application processing, conversion activities, and registration of students
• Generating reports and communicating to appropriate departments to assist with enrolment management
• Ensuring contact management support for prospective applicants and is responsible for handling inquires through email, phone and in person
• Assisting in the training of regional agents to ensure effective recruitment effort for Georgian College and its programs. This includes informing the agents of program information and availability, fees, and providing online-training to agent on application, payments, refunds etc.
• Initiating the agency agreement processes upon approval from Regional Managers
• Following up with students to ensure their smooth transition and enrolment to Georgian College, including adjustments to program start date by helping to process a deferral request, informing necessary pre-arrival services (accommodation arrangement, transportation to Barrie, etc.)
• Coordinating events to promote Georgian College programs to prospective students and industry stakeholders (i.e. recruitment fair, family tours, campus tours).
• Participating in recruitment activities, which support the recruitment of international students, or assisting the logistical coordination for the Regional Manager to attend events, aiding in management of conducting both scheduled and intensive promotional activities for the recruitment of potential students for specific programs

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Successfully completed a two year postsecondary diploma in a relevant field of study
• Two years experience in sales and marketing
• Must be fluent in both English and Korean (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of Georgian College programs would be considered an asset
• Georgian College / UPC graduate would be considered an asset
• Experience in an educational institute is considered an asset
• Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook) and other presentation software
• Experience preparing and delivering presentations and coordinating events
• Proven ability with gathering, analyzing data and preparing reports, including expense reports
• Proven written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to work non-traditional hours with occasional overnight travel to represent Georgian at various events
• Ability to manage time, multitask and meet provided deadlines
