Global Cloud Marketing Manager, Emerging ISV's

The Ingram Micro Cloud Comet Competition is the only startup challenge dedicated to helping B2B ISVs find commercial success for their technology and purpose-built for the IT channel. Comet Competition finalists receive go-to-market funding, unparalleled access to top corporate partners, and tailored curriculum to accelerate their success - all for zero equity.

We are seeking a Global Cloud Marketing Manager to our Comet Competition marketing program and other early-stage ISV marketing initiatives globally. The Global Cloud Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, leading, and optimizing the global Comet marketing program and working with regional marketing leads to ensure smooth execution of local events and competitions. He/she will drive global press and brand recognition for Ingram Micro Cloud's startup and ecosystem expansion initiatives, as well as lead global vendor sponsorship initiatives for the Comet program. The right person for this job will be an enthusiastic, self-starter who is excited to accelerate the next wave of great B2B technology through successful Comet Competitions.

Your job will be :

  • Lead and optimize global marketing for the Ingram Micro Comet Competition program and other startup and early-stage ISV initiatives
  • Work closely with regional marketing leads to ensure smooth execution of local "franchised" Comet Competitions and events
  • Drive global press and recognition for Ingram Micro Cloud's startup initiatives through PR, paid media, and organic content (video, thought leadership blogs, social, email campaigns
  • Work closely with product marketing, digital, content, and the rest of our global marketing team to optimize campaigns
  • Lead Comet program vendor sponsorship globally and work with regional teams to execute locally
  • Develop a templatized marketing campaign deliverables to support ISV recruitment for global and in-region Comet Competitions
  • Run point on Comet Competition global finalist presence and final competition at Cloud Summit
  • Develop a deep understanding of Ingram Micro Cloud's overall strategy, target audiences, and customer base in order to develop effective campaign messaging
  • To Report, understand, and present on KPIs and ROI to determine course correction recommendations

What you bring to this role :

  • 5+ years of marketing experience required; B2B, enterprise software solutions including SaaS a plus
  • Previous experience working with startups or ISVs a major plus
  • Experience building and implementing integrated campaigns including digital marketing, email, social, direct mail, content and PR
  • Experience leading a global marketing program working with regional teams to execute
  • Familiarity with modern marketing platforms and tools such as CRM (, Dynamics), marketing automation (Eloqua, Marketo), social media (LinkedIn, Twitter), paid search (Google, Bing), and reporting (Domo, Adobe, Tableau)
  • Excellent communicator - both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Proactive, self-starter with enthusiasm for challenges
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, working well with ambiguity and unexpected change
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Ability to travel (up to 25%)
