Senior Strategic Sales Executive - Global Cloud

Ingram Micro Cloud is the largest cloud provider in the channel, offering partners access to an infinite ecosystem of cloud solutions on the industry's leading cloud platform, named CloudBlue. We are looking for an experienced and motivated sales person to join our team as a SaaS Cloud "quarterback" managing 3 key vendors .

As a Strategic Sales Executive dedicated to the SaaS Portfolio, you will be responsible for accelerating your vendors growth within the top 10 countries while expanding into new ones. You will be the alliance leader with 50% of your time spent on business development, 25% on strategic planning and 25% on operational execution. Your sales experience will allow you to consult at the executive level to share best practices for growing in the Cloud. You will organize a team of people to implement plans for the Partner's sales teams, marketing and operations teams. In the end - you are successful when your Partners accelerate their cloud business and win in the market.

As a Strategic Sales Executive, you will be Responsible to:

  • Work directly with your vendors to ensure we accelerate their growth in key markets, adjusting tactics and resources as needed
  • Drive new revenue opportunities and work with country leaders to execute
  • Primary engagement will be with the vendor and Ingram Cloud country leaders
  • Engage large-scale partners (that have chosen our CloudBlue platform) to understand and shape their cloud sales strategy.
  • Build and maintain key partner relationships to help remove roadblocks and uncover new opportunities.
  • Be an integral part of a project team for your customer; helping them implement plans for their sales team, marketing teams, and operations teams.
  • Conduct in-person and remote strategy sessions that may include Partner executives, Ingram executives, and peers.
  • Implement, drive and maintain the designated vendor programs.
  • Act as the subject matter expert your vendors SaaS solutions
  • Be accountable for partner achieving goals in Cloud sales and revenue.

Your Qualifications should include:
  • 5+ years of B2B technology sales experience (Cloud sales is a plus, but not required)
  • Proven experience with strategic sales engagement including formal sales presentations, written proposals and sales with multiple decision makers.
  • Experience with face-to-face sales training and event/conference networking.
  • Demonstrated program/project management skills; documenting and executing a plan.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - including proposals and closing techniques.
  • Ability to travel up to between 25% and 50% of the time (this will include international travel)
