This is an entry level position with an opportunity for professional development. This position provides support to new and existing clients to increase company sales and maintain current business through solicitation via telephone and other means of communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Continuous relationship building with new and existing clients
  • Prospect and generate new leads, via telephone for new business development
  • Identify, qualify and respond to new customer’s requests and requirements
  • Track information for customers, i.e., order status, delivery, etc.
  • Maintain current and accurate contact management software using CRM
  • Prepare and issue documentation related to quotations, orders, and sales reports
  • Follow up on product knowledge, literature or technical support requests for new and existing clients
  • Maintain and develop defined client base, which is classified as Inside Sales accounts
  • Create correspondence necessary for customer follow up
  • Interact with the outside sales team and sales support staff to develop new business and maintain current business
  • Cross support for the sales support team
  • Provide written monthly reports to manager
  • May attend trade shows
  • Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One to two years’ experience in business to business tele sales preferred
  • Prior experience telemarketing to large businesses a plus
  • College degree and/or relevant experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Power point and outlook)
  • Working knowledge of CRM or MS 265 an asset
  • Self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic and optimistic
  • Good selling skills with an outgoing style and excellent communication
  • Good organizational skills
  • Must be creative, flexible, tenacious, patient, team player, sensitive to the customers’ needs
