Altec is currently in search of a Talent Management Representative in Birmingham, AL. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support and coordination within the Human Resources - Talent Management Team. The position provides support for training, leadership development, workshops, and company events. This position will interface with all levels of associates at Altec verbally and in writing, so attention to detail and professionalism is a must. Major responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Preparing and disseminating materials to participants (i.e. training documents, assessments, biographical profiles, notifications, reminder e-mails, etc.)
  • Assisting in the preparation of more complex training materials
  • Scheduling company's leadership for participation in training programs
  • Scheduling and coordinating the layout of classroom and training venues
  • Serving as a point of contact for all external vendors for training programs (i.e. catering, restaurants, hotel, transportation, external presenters, etc.)
  • Coordinating all technology needs for training set-up
  • Coordinating schedules and booking travel accommodations
  • Entering / Providing reports of training records in Learning Management System
  • Providing invoice administration - tracking invoices to ensure payment
  • Managing feedback surveys from training programs
  • All other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

The job level may be adjusted upward should the selected candidate meet or exceed the qualifications of a higher level within the career path

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Two years' work experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree may be considered in lieu of experience
  • Excellent computer skills required; Prefer Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft experience
