Basic Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required
Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.
There is a Material Control support position open in the Altec Service Group. This position has the responsibility for hands-on material control for a fast-paced Service Center. Work as a critical member of the team to ensure inventory accuracy and to support shop work flow.
- Interest and able to work on second shift from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- High school or GED is required with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role
- Experience using a computer on the job
- Overtime may be required
- Physical effort is required to move objects that may weight up to 75 pounds
- Able to obtain a forklift operator license
Use strong communication, sense of urgency, organization and computer skills to work with outside vendors and with the Altec team. A mechanical aptitude and interest is critical for success with knowledge of hydraulic parts helpful.
