, a premier high-touch, value-added distributor (VAD) with a core focus on distributing data storage and virtualization solutions through a two-tier distribution channel selling to value added resellers (VARs) and system integrators. Promark also provides federal and state contract vehicles including the GSA Schedule for which its channel partners can leverage to sell to the federal government.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the basic functions of Order Management and for developing the skills necessary to resolve non-standard issues. In addition to serving the customer, the Sales Representative provides assistance and support to the members of his/her sales team.
  • The Sales Representative guidance to Associate Sales Reps by answering routine questions and, when appropriate, assisting with opportunities and/or issues before escalating them to a senior team member.

Job Requirements:
  • Two years of college course work preferred.
  • Call center or similar industry experience required.
  • Knowledge of professional, effective telephone techniques and customer care.
  • Basic understanding of profitability components.
  • Basic technical and product knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of Ingram Micro programs and services a plus.
  • Skill in personal computing or keyboarding.
  • Basic proficiency in systems (i.e., Impulse).
  • Good oral and written communications skills required.
