Job Description


The SEC Reporting Manager will be directly responsible for managing the preparation of our SEC filings, including the 10-Qs and 10-K, and coordination with our legal and human resources teams with respect to the Proxy Statement and other miscellaneous filings. Assist with the evaluation of new accounting pronouncements issued by the FASB, EITF and SEC and implement any new reporting or disclosure requirements. This position will report to the Assistant Corporate Controller and have the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10-Q/K and manage the internal and external review for these documents
  • Preparation of financial statements of the Company’s 401k plan for the Form 11-K and the Department of Labor ERISA Form 5500.
  • Create and maintain SEC calendar to inform parties of necessary deadline
  • Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance, provide US GAAP interpretation and prepare technical memorandums that document issues in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner
  • Advise management on technical US GAAP accounting, SEC financial reporting and accounting policy issues and questions; Conduct technical accounting research and document technical accounting conclusions
  • Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, and issues
  • Assist in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors
  • Assist with statutory government reporting and related audits as needed
  • Oversee equity plan reporting and related systems, including preparation of stock compensation valuations and calculations and related disclosures
  • Ensure compliance and provide technical support for M&A activity including due diligence and preparation of purchase accounting
  • Assist with periodic Intangible and Long-Lived Assets Impairment reviews
  • Develop and oversee the implementation and management of certain SOX related controls over the financial reporting function
  • Provides support to groups in the Corporate Accounting department on an as-needed basis.
  • Performs other financially related tasks, as required.

  • CPA required
  • Bachelors or master’s degree in accounting
  • Public accounting experience with public company clients (Big 4 preferred)
  • SEC reporting experience required
  • Minimum 5-10 years of overall relevant experience
  • Previous work experience with a public company preferred
  • SAP and BPC experience preferred
  • Demonstrated working experience with XBRL and equity plan reporting systems a plus
  • Workiva (Wdesk) experience preferred
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills required to effectively analyze financial data
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
