The PSAC is looking to hire a Regional Manager for the BC Region.
Note: This indeterminate position is eligible for a car allowance.
The successful candidate must work and reside in the Metro Vancouver area.
Reporting to the Director of the Regional Offices Branch (ROB), the Regional Coordinator (Manager) is responsible for managing programs and coordinating and supervising staff assignments in the British Columbia Region. In consultation with the Regional Executive Vice‑President (REVP), the Regional Coordinator (Manager) ensures the timely and effective delivery of PSAC programs and services in the Region. As a member of the Management Team, the Regional Coordinator (Manager) BC participates in policy setting and strategic planning at both the regional and national level.
Qualifications:
- A combination of education and experience in the field of labour relations; knowledge of union practices and programs; skills and experience in management; preparing and monitoring budgets, successfully deal with change and to effectively manage organizational, operational and people issues; an understanding and commitment to union and equity principles.
