As an Analyst, Compliance & Ethics you’ll:


  • Reconcile the preclearance requests with the employee and consultant’s account statements

  • Analyse and document discrepancies relating to the personal trading rules

  • Perform daily and periodic monitoring activities to ensure compliance with respect to the personal trading rules

  • Respond efficiently to internal requests relating to the personal trading rules

  • Prepare various reports for the Chief Compliance Officer and heads of business units

  • Document adequately compliance checks and ensure traceability

  • Escalate compliance issues or discrepancies on a timely basis

  • Maintain procedures describing the controls under the analyst’s responsibility

  • Ensure efficiency of monitoring activities and optimize processes on an on-going basis.

  • Participate in compliance initiatives and projects





  • Good understanding of financial instruments

  • Proficiency with technology tools: strong ability to use new software

  • Strong skills to ensure quality controls (detail-oriented, rigorous person, etc.)

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing deadlines and prioritizing responsibilities efficiently

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills both in French and English

  • Sense of responsibility and accountability

  • Demonstrates work ethic, professional integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential information





  • University degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent)

  • Canadian Securities Course obtained (or in the process of) and/or other related industry courses or designations, an asset

  • A minimum of three years of experience in the financial services sector

  • Experience in auditing and/or compliance, an asset

  • Experience with a broker- dealer, an asset
