Position overview:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our AI Engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to be the first Product Manager in this team, and to drive our product discovery and open source strategy.

 

As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and executing on the product roadmap for our AI Engineering team. You will work closely with our research and engineering teams to identify new product opportunities and develop strategies to drive product adoption and growth. You will also play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with key open source communities and organizations, to ensure that our products are aligned with industry standards and best practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap for our AI Engineering team, in alignment with our overall strategic goals and priorities Identify and prioritize new product opportunities, based on market research, customer feedback, and industry trends Work closely with our research and engineering teams to develop and launch new products, ensuring that they meet customer needs and expectations Lead product discovery efforts, including conducting user research, market analysis, and competitive analysis to inform product development Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success, to drive product adoption and growth Build and maintain relationships with key open source communities and organizations, to ensure that our products are aligned with industry standards and best practices Monitor and report on key metrics, such as product usage and adoption, to inform product strategy and decision-making

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the AI or machine learning space Strong knowledge of open source software development and a passion for contributing to the open source community Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders Demonstrated ability to think strategically, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Experience working with AI technologies and a deep understanding of the Applied AI research and development landscape is highly desirable. Experience working with productivity tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Jira, etc
