Join us at IAMGOLD as an Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) Data Specialist, where you'll be integral to our pursuit of sustainability excellence. Your role will center on managing and analyzing ESG data to drive informed decision-making and elevate our sustainability performance.

Based in our corporate office, this is a permanent role with 3 days in-office and 2 days work from home.

In this position, you'll support data collection and the development of sustainability reports aligned with prominent standards and frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative, Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and emerging standards. Additionally, you'll assist in developing ESG metrics, conduct benchmarking and best practice research, and support the response to ESG rating organizations. Your involvement will extend to developing and implementing data quality and assurance processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate ESG performance and initiatives to internal stakeholders.

Moreover, you'll be actively engaged in enhancing our health and safety practices. As the lead administrator of our H&S management software (Intelex), you'll prepare periodical reports and analyze data to identify trends and risks.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally possess a post secondary education coupled with more than three years of relevant experience. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, including Excel and Power BI, is essential. Experience with global sustainability reporting standards and frameworks is required. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is desirable but not mandatory. Knowledge of Intelex is a plus. Your ability to work independently and collaboratively, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will be key assets in interpreting data and driving meaningful insights.
