Job Title:                          Operational Planning Analyst

JOB PURPOSE

Supports the development, maintenance and analysis of operational plans, performance metrics, and reporting of CNO’s enterprise and operational strategic objectives.  Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify key trends and opportunities, and provide recommendations to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the development and maintenance of an integrated operational plan by collaborating with business partners and relevant parties at various organizational levels, facilitating data collection of operational initiatives, identifying and prioritizing key initiatives and performance indicators to ensure operational goals are achieved.
  • Analyzes and interprets operational data to identify trends and patterns; develops and maintains dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate operational performance metrics and key performance indicators to business partners/parties.
  • Monitors and tracks progress of key initiatives and operational plans; identifies potential risks, issues or deviations from plans, and proposes mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinates the development of integrated progress reports on operational performance and plan execution; prepares and presents operational updates, analyses and recommendations to Leadership team and business partners/parties; facilitates communication and knowledge sharing among cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of operational goals.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies; develops and maintains standard operation procedures related to planning frameworks, operational planning and performance management; supports the implementation and adoption of planning frameworks and processes across the organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or related discipline.
  • Five years of relevant work experience in operational planning, performance management or a related role.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or other operational software.

  • Consulting and Advising – gathers information to gain understanding of an issue and considers several factors to identify options and solutions to address client needs; collaborates with relevant partners/parties to facilitate resolutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

 

Hiring Range: $104,285 - $110,819

Full Salary Range: $104,285 - $125,142
