Unit 252, Burnaby, BC V5J 3J1, Canada</p> <p><b>Job title:</b>&nbsp;Watchmaker</p> <p><b>Number of Openings:</b>&nbsp;1</p> <p><b>Wage:</b>&nbsp;$65,000 - $95,000 /annually</p> <p><b>Main responsibilities include but not limited to:</b></p> <p>· Movement dismantling, replacement/fixing of broken parts, cleaning, reassemble, correct lubrication and rate check and adjustment as required.</p> <p>· Fabricating parts when necessary due to unavailability of original parts.</p> <p>· Cleaning, polishing watch cases to like-new condition.</p> <p>· Analyze and take decisions to define proper methodology to repair the movement.</p> <p>· Use or develop adequate tools or processes to correct issues that can arise during the repair process.</p> <p>· Work as a team player with other watchmakers to ensure smooth operations.</p> <p>· Make sure all required services for the customer have been carried and the watch is ready for wearing.</p> <p><b>Qualifications and requirements:</b></p> <p>Watchmaker Certifications:</p> <p>o For partial repair: watchmaking apprenticeship or Basic Certificate in Watch Repair from AWCI or similar.</p> <p>o For complete repair: completion of a watchmaking apprenticeship with satisfactory results.</p> <p>o For specialist repair: specialist knowledge of complicated movements or completion with satisfactory results of a post-apprenticeship course, such as WOSTEP (Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Education Programme).&nbsp;<b>OR</b></p> <p>· Watchmaker certifications from Swiss Brands like Cartier, Breitling, Chopard etc.&nbsp;<b>OR</b></p> <p>· Watchmaker experience of 5 years at least, of working on Swiss luxury brands, new and pre-owned timepieces.</p> <p><b>Personal suitability:</b></p> <p>· Good communications skills</p> <p>· Client focus</p> <p>· Ability to work as a part of a team</p> <p><b>Work conditions and physical capabilities</b></p> <p><b>Job Criteria:</b></p> <p>Job type:</p> <p>· Full-time, permanent position</p> <p>Wage:</p> <p>· $65,000 - $95,000/anually</p> <p>Hour per week:</p> <p>· 40 hours per week</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>- Health care, dental, on-site parking</p> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>· 8 hours shifts</p> <p>Work location:</p> <p>· 5489 Byrne Rd.
