As social planners and community development consultants, we work alongside First Nations, local governments, organizations, businesses, and both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities to dig into the root of systemic issues and test innovative new approaches. Our team is made up of interdisciplinary consultants who specialize in affordable housing, health and social planning, community development, Indigenous wellbeing, and social innovation. More and more of our clients are looking for innovative ideas and customized solutions based on an integrated perspective across fields such as planning, public health, social work, reconciliation, and social innovation.
We strive to build internship opportunities that are exciting, challenging, and rewarding and offer exposure to the wide-ranging nature of social planning and community development. Our goal is for you to come away with new points of view and an enhanced skillset that will serve you well in your future career. In general, you can expect to be involved in the following kinds of activities:
- Conducting research, preparing background reports, and supporting projects for local government, community partners, and Indigenous clients

- Attending and supporting site visits, public meetings, engagement and facilitation workshops, program planning, and open houses as required
